|Abstract||The study presents an analysis of Canadian French literature in general and in particular that of the literary work of Antonine Maillet. We become acquainted with several particulars of the history of the Acadiens, which will constitute an interpretation of History, and which is put into parallelism with the Ancient Testament's events, Rabelais, Homer and Virgil. At the same time, the examination of Maillet's registers of styles highlight the metaphors of a local-global human history.|
